Nazis in a castle having their souls sucked out by a floating brain that then turns into a kind of undead bodybuilder, filmed in the most 80s style that clashes with its period setting, starring Jürgen Prochnow, Gabriel Byrne and Ian McKellen, and with music by Tangerine Dream?

If Mad Max 2 is a visual touchpoint for later, heavier industrial music, then the original for me is aligned with the weirder, minimal, synth punk that I’ve always found more appealing.

A brilliant film. Reminds you that every event can and should be seen as a moment of magical significance.

Never heard of it, 1983 is a good vintage, the first track is a rip off of Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene IV. Excellent!
